Chlorinators Catching the Eye of International Community

The director of IA in Haiti, Dalebrun Esther was contacted by a Swiss organization named HELVETAS. This organization for international cooperation wants to use our chlorinators for their water project. Spreading the news about our chlorinators will greatly enhance our mission. Working with HELVETAS, we will install 3 chlorinators in Goas Morne Gonaives and in Verrettes.

More than 70 chlorinators have been installed, greatly improving the water quality, but not necessarily the quantity. The leaders of the neighborhoods have to ask the Haitian government water committee, known as CAMEP, for regular water supply. IA cannot intervene if CAMEP cannot guarantee the water supply of the water towers.

Here are some sites that have been accepted by CAMEP:

  • Village de Dieu – 1 chlorinator serving 10,000 people.
  • Canape Vert/ Villa Rosa Plus – 2 chlorinators serving 13,000 people.
  • Solino – 3 chlorinators serving 16,000 people.
